Conqor Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Conqor ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Conqor mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
This policy is provided as a base for transparency. It does not replace professional legal advice.
1. Introduction and Scope
Conqor is a location-based territory claim game. Because gameplay is tied to real-world geography, certain data — especially precise location — is essential to provide the Service. This policy applies to all users of the Conqor app, website, and support channels.
The Service is operated by Conqor. For privacy inquiries, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
2.1 Account and profile information
- Username and display name
- Password (stored only as a secure hash; we never store plain-text passwords)
- Email address (if you provide one for verification, recovery, or support)
- Profile photo / avatar (if you upload one)
- Account status, verification state, and tutorial progress
- In-game currency balance, inventory, and progression data
2.2 Location data
- Precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) when you use map, territory claim, conquest, scouting, and related gameplay features
- Approximate location derived from GPS for map rendering and territory assignment
- Location history associated with territory actions (claims, reinforcements, attacks) for gameplay integrity and anti-cheat
Location data is core to Conqor. Without it, territory claim and map-based features cannot function.

- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Device identifiers used for session management and fraud prevention
- IP address and inferred country (from IP or request headers)
- Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs (when you submit feedback or when errors are collected)
2.4 Gameplay and social data

2.7 Information from others
- Other players may see your username, avatar, territory activity, clan affiliation, and public chat messages according to game mechanics and your privacy settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide the Service: Enable territory claim, map display, clan features, chat, marketplace, and all core gameplay
- Match and connect players: Clan discovery, friend requests, proximity-based features, and world events
- Maintain safety and integrity: Anti-cheat detection, abuse prevention, enforcement of Terms & Conditions, and investigation of reports
- Communicate with you: Push notifications (with your consent), email verification, password reset, and support responses
- Process purchases: Deliver virtual items and currency you buy through official store channels
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible)
- Comply with law: Respond to lawful requests and protect our rights, users, and the public
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Location Data
Conqor requires access to your device's location services to function as designed.
- Why we need it: Territory hexes are tied to real-world geography. Claiming, defending, and viewing the map all depend on knowing where you are.
- When we collect it: While you are actively using location-dependent features, including when the app is in the foreground and, where permitted, in the background for ongoing territory and notification features.
- How to limit it: You can disable location permissions in your device settings. Doing so will prevent or severely limit territory claim and map gameplay. You may continue to access non-location features where available.
- Retention: Location tied to specific gameplay events may be retained for anti-cheat, dispute resolution, and service improvement for a limited period (see Section 8).
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information in these circumstances:
5.1 With other players
Your username, avatar, territories, clan activity, and public chat content are visible to other users as part of normal gameplay, subject to your in-app privacy settings (e.g., discoverability, chat restrictions).
5.2 Service providers
We use trusted third parties to help operate the Service, such as:
- Cloud hosting and database providers
- Map and geolocation services
- Push notification delivery (e.g., Firebase / Apple Push Notification service)
- App store and payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play)
- Email delivery for verification and support
These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.
5.3 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms & Conditions.
5.4 Business transfers
If Conqor is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.
6. Push Notifications and Communications
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to send you game-related alerts (e.g., territory events, clan activity, announcements). You can disable notifications in your device or in-app settings at any time.
We may send transactional emails (verification, password reset, support replies) when you have provided an email address.
